APPLICATION OF MODULE AUTOMATIC INPUT OF RESERVE MAVR-3-11
The module automatic input reserve MAVR-3-1 (the module) is a control device is designed to automatically switch to reserve line at disconnected or a fault of operating line. The device is designed for operation in the cupboards (units) of control the automatic enabling a reserve power in systems uninterruptible power supply 3-phase electrical receivers of I and II category of connection according to the SAE requirements.
PURPOSE OF MODULE
The module is designed to control automatic switching from one source of supplying to the other and back to automatic mode when the voltage of unacceptable deviations or alarm at the working input (reduction/exceeding the set threshold of voltage, changes of alternation of phases, breakages of one or more phases). Technical characteristics of the module are shown in Table below. Circuits connection are shown in figures below.
DESIGN OF MODULE
The module is designed for shield mounting. Case material - plastic ABC. Mounting is carried into the insertion hole dimensions 136*136mm. To fixing is used two brackets, supplied. Dimensions of the module shown in Figure below. Order of installation brackets is shown in Figure below.
At the front panel there are mnemonic circuit, LED phase voltages "L1", "L2", "L3", indicators exceeded threshold values "<U" and ">U", indicator of ready input "READY", indicators of state switching mechanisms "OFF", "REMOTE", indicator "ALARM", indicator of automatic mode "AUTO", buttons of control switching mechanisms "INPUT1" and "INPUT2", reset button "STOP", button of turning on automatic mode "AUTO".
On the switching panel there are fuses of circuits of auxiliary power supply of each input, jacks of connection input 1 and input 2, jacks of connection switching mechanisms input 1 and input 2, jack of connection auxiliary power supply "Uauxiliary", jack "ALARM" for connection external alarm signaling, jack "INPUTS" for connection external signaling devices, switches for setting threshold values of voltages "Umax", "Umin" for input 1 and for input 2, switches of setting delays "Timeon", "Timeoff", unit of microswitches of setting operation modes "Modes".
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION MODULE
The module is a ready-to-use device consisting of three independent electronic units: two units of control parameters of three-phase four-wire net (voltage control) and microprocessor unit.
The unit of voltage control of each input has LED indication of input state. Power is carried out from phase "L1" and neutral "N". Units are galvanic isolated each other and with microprocaessor unit.
The microprocessor unit analyzes the readiness of main and reserve inputs, set points of switches units modes, duration state of discreate inputs, after that is carried out an issuance control signals to built-in control relay and indicators on the front panel. A control of switching mechanismsis carried out via "dry" contacts built-in relay. Power of microprocessor unit is provided by phases L1 of first and second inputs. Auxiliary supply is generated from phase L1 of first input or phase L1 of second input. In the absence of two phases, a microprocessor unit is unable to perforn its function.

CONTROL MODES
Manual:
Manual input is used for direct connection of selected input via buttons on front panel "Input1" or "Input2".
In case, if is supplied a command to enable one input, when enabling other input, firstly will disabling input, then will be given a command to start the selected input. For example, its necessary to enable a second input at enabled first input. After 3 seconds after pressing button "Input2", MAVR will change a state. Disconnects the first input, then the load is connected to second input.
To switch to automatic mode of control its necessary press and hold a button "Auto". LED "Auto" is off.

Auto mode:
In this mode MAVR automatically controls the switching devices. Switching to mode of manual control is provided by pressing a button "Input1" or "Input2". LED "Auto" is on.
Reset mode:
At pressing button "Stop" is carried out a disabling of active input, reset alarms at state and short circuit (if it possible). MAVR goes into standby mode, flashing LED "Auto". In this mode MAVR performs only fuctions of state indication. All relay outputs are switched off.
