Capacitor dynamic discharge unit MDR-1
TU
MDR-2/1k UHL4, code EAN-13 (order code): 4620769453716
MODULE FUNCTIONS
This module is designed to fast discharge capacitor batteries in capacitor sets for compensating a reactive power. It provides a high rate of discharge at the minimum heat generation. Built in 1 kOhm resistors are connected only when capacitors are disconnected from a network and remain connected until a complete discharge of capacitors. If capacitors are connected to a network before the discharge will terminate, resistors will be automatically disconnected. When capacitors are connected to a network, an electric power module practically does not consume any energy (an energy is only needed to indicate an availability of a voltage at capacitors).
MODULE DESIGN
The MDR-2/1к module is manufactured the standard two-module case (from a self-extinguishing plastic) and has a size 35х93х63мм. It is attached to a 35 mm DIN rail or on a flat surface.

A maximum section of connected conductors is 2.5 sq. mm.
It is not recommended to use the MDR-2/1к module to discharge capacitors, which capacity is more than 400 microfarad.
